The duality themed, time traveling 20th anniversary game in the Sonic series now has an official date. November 20th of this year is when you'll be able to enjoy two times the hedgehog and kitsune! The game will be available on that day for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, but a date for the 3DS counterpart has not yet been announced. We're hoping for great things from this good-looking game,  and will have a review for you shortly after its release, hopefully! Can't wait!

It was announced a few months ago that Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, would be coming to the US before the year was out. Well, we now have an exact date and a new trailer, filled with gameplay and those furry friends we'll hopefully grow to love. September 27th is the confirmed release day for North America. Here's the new trailer!

 

The highly anticipated Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has 10 races in it, including two races that this fandom would be particularly interested in. The Argonians are a race of anthropomorphic reptiles, with gills on their necks and are covered in scales. Sharp teeth line their mouths. Argonians' tails help when they swim, as they glide underwater like a fish. The Khajiiti race is made up of several subtypes with very distinct appearances. All Khajiit are feline in appearance, placing them among the group known as "beast races" by the human and mer inhabitants of Tamriel.

Today, Character preset renderings were released for all 10 races, but we've decided to just show the Argonians and Kajiit here. For the other 8 races, check out this article.

NCsoft's long in development MMO by Carbine Studios has finally been announced and detailed with some screenshots and a trailer. WildStar will be a large-scale and dynamic MMO, and just so happens to feature a purple-haired bunny girl! :o

There's currently no timeframe for release.

Ready for some fuzzy, fluffy kitties and cubs on your Windows 7 Phone? Microsoft recently announced plans to release a mobile version of Kinectimals for Windows 7 phones at the 2011 Gamescom event in Germany.

"Players can care for and bond with their favorite pet cat or bear cub using touch screen controls to feed, pet, play and nurture them on-the-go from their Windows Phone while also enjoying Xbox LIVE integration of Achievements and Leaderboards."

Bears. Stephen Colbert warned us about them, and now they are here. Invading our consoles. 

Microsoft has announced that "Kinectimals Now With Bears!" will be available this fall as a full disc release, and as DLC for existing game owners for $15.

The game will feature a brand new island to explore, a new host, and a ton of fuzzy bears to play with!

American publisher XSEED has just announced that they'll be bringing the long-awaited game Solatorobo to the US this September, ending nearly 12 years of frustration from stateside Tail Concerto fans. Namco Bandai published CyberConnect2's DS action-RPG, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, in Japan. Nintendo itself picked the game up for Europe and now, finally, XSEED has announced that it'll bring the game to North America.

Solatorobo is set on the floating islands of Shepherd Republic where two races of people, one resembling cats and one resembling dogs live. The floating islands is above a sea of Plasma and French is their native language. The inhabitants of the islands develop and employ specialized robots to do their everyday jobs. Red Savarin, one of the dog people, is requested to obtain an important file that has been stolen and boards the large Hindenburg air ship, deep within which he finds a mysterious medallion-shaped item. A giant creature called Laress appears suddenly beside the ship and sends it into flames. As Red makes his escape, he runs into Elh Melizee, a mysterious cat person. Soon, he and Elh travels all across the Shepherd Republic along with his younger sister Chocolat Gelato, uncovering the mysteries under the medal he suddenly obtained and discover the secret behind Elh's hidden past.

For those of you clamoring for some news about the upcoming installment of Animal Crossing on the Nintendo 3DS, well we've got a small quote from the creator of the new game, and a little video that premiered at E3.

Katsuya Eguchi, creator of the series, has this to say to those waiting:

To those Animal Crossing fans, I just would like them to know that there’s progress and we should be able to offer a new download movie soon. As for features and specs of the game, I can’t go into too much detail, but players will be able to arrange their furniture the way they like, and we’ll be offering new networking experiences.
