Producers of the show offered $1500 to Kiira last week, which she accepted. They have been looking for quot;that furryquot; since mid-2010, of which many of the responses have been negative.br /br /We can only see what will be on the show, as Kiira has stated she doesnt care about the fandom since she is not active in the community, only in the show for the money and 15 minutes of fame(source: her comments in the youtube video).

Woyro's Warren episode 112---Foreign Furry Cons
A very productive weekend!
Been feeling a little down lately. I guess it comes with the cold weather and such.
BUT, i managed to crank out a new episode of Woyro's Warren. This one is a little longer than usual. Partly to make up for the last short episode.
This time around i talk about cons i'm planning to go to this next year. Plus i'll be talking about furry cons outside of the US. this will take several episodes. I also added some music to the middle of the show. a song called "ConSuite" by Max DeGroot. you can find more of Max's stuff at the Fump (Funny Music Project) Sideshow (thefump.com), at maxdegroot.com...or by googling Max DeGroot.
the show is available through iTunes, at woyroswarren.mevio.com, or from divshare. here is the divshare download link:

and here is the player thingie so you can listen right now:

Scientists in Panda suits? There's method in their madnes
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/peterwedderburn/100067202/scientists-in-panda-suits-theres-method-in-their-madness/
Don't know if this is really furry furries, but its an interesting use. Plenty of potential problems with the panda scheme, though. What if the head falls off in sight of the baby panda? What if the baby panda becomes bipedal?

The first bit of footage was taken from the televised broadcast of the parade, the latter footage was taken by a friend & my fiance.

(Edit: Their video player offers embedding code, but obviously LJ doesn't like it. So just the static links here ....)

OMGWTF! Furries Saga - Season 1, Episode 3: Revenge of the Yiff (Part III)
Before beginning his journey with Martino, Robert provides a taste of his family life and a familiar face returns. It proves to be the beginning of a fateful night when Tio Koggey must accept the blunders of his subordinates as blunders of his own. Meanwhile, in a gripping instance of life imitating art, Umgotts Studios gets a visitor with a dire message: that they are awful and need to stop making their unfunny videos.
In this successor to the original OMGWTF! Furries documentary, the consequences left throughout our culture for years after the original piece was completed. Some of the original cast returns. Some of the original cast has been brutally murdered. A dangerous enemy is at large, and Umgotts Studios is gearing up to release another stupid home movie. Meanwhile, a curious young man on a quest for justice, revenge, and vengeance is about to make his first foray into the furry fandom.

x-post from fursuitlounge: History of fursuiting
Hi, I wanted to ask if anyone here can identify the earliest instance of fursuiting, namely before ConFurence 0 (1989). I'm writing (for a class final project) a historical analysis of media fandom that compares the treatment of media and fiction by furries to the treatment of media by science/speculative fiction fans, and I wanted to identify how and when fursuiting became not only a common feature to furry get-togethers but also a cottage industry that, like most of the fandom, remains unadopted or uncatered towards by the larger costume manufacturing industry that, at the least, caters to the speculative and anime fandoms.
The problem is that Confurence 0, the first furry convention to take place, already had a Furry Costuming track, so I'm assuming that the furry parties held by the Rowrbrazzle APA and the C/FO at San Diego Comic Con in 1985/86 were where furry costuming was first adopted as a fandom activity?
Anyway, thanks for any replies in advance. Someone else asked a similar question to alt.fan.furry in 2008 and couldn't get a definitive answer, but I'm primarily looking for general views from active and veteran fursuiters on how far back you all think it goes.
EDIT Relevant to this community: Any references from historical sources (fanzines, con reports, etc.) would be nice.
EDIT 2: I'm using this article as a jumping off point, much of which is derived from this article by Fred Patten.

OMGWTF! Furries Saga - Season 1, Episode 2: Revenge of the Yiff (Part II)
Watch this week as we continue to meet the cast, including not-quite-furry Martino and the illustrious illustrator Robert, while Tio Koggey faces a press conference undaunted by the sheer idiocy of it all.
