It’s now just over two months away from the start of C-ACE (May 30 to June 1 in Ottawa, Canada), and we’re very excited with how things are shaping up! Here are just a few of the highlights this month.

Thu 9 Jan 2003 - 14:03

Don't wait to send in your registrations for CACE 2003, because the CACE Early Bird Draw is back for an encore appearance! Anyone who pre-registers for CACE by Friday, Feb 28 (postmarked) will be eligible, including those who have already pre-registered. The main prize is a $50 gift certificate from a major book store chain, with five runner-up prizes each consisting of a CACE 2002 T-shirt (among the last of our stock!).

Thu 12 Dec 2002 - 13:35

Now that it's only about six months until CACE2, the time is about right for a few more details about our 2003 event.

CACE is proud to present our Guests of Honour! Chris Goodwin, a well known artist and illustrator renowned for his superb graphic design sense, will be our Artist Guest of Honour. In addition to being an excellent artist, Chris is also a great teacher, and we look forward to having him at our event.

Sun 3 Nov 2002 - 19:15

The Canadian Anthro & Cartooning Expo (CACE) returns again next year in a new time slot (May 30 to June 1, 2003) and a new hotel, but don't worry ... we're still keeping the friendly atmosphere and the comfortable vibe! Also returning will be our great selection of workshops, classes and panels, the focus on the creative aspects of the fandom, the Art Show and Dealers Room, and our popular Friday Night Chocolate Social, amongst other attractions.

Hi, everyone;

Although the big news right now is our programming schedule, we do have a few other news items to pass along as well.

Wed 17 Jul 2002 - 19:22

Hi, everyone;

First off, it was very nice to meet so many of you at Anthrocon. I'd also like to thank the Anthrocon staff and volunteers for their professionalism and hospitality.

Seeing as how CACE is the next major event on the convention schedule, I'd like to remind everyone that our pre-registration deadline is next Monday, July 22rd. Registrations must be postmarked by that date to receive our low pre-registration rate of $30 CAN/$20 US.
