Both Science Fiction and the word of toons are connected. Michael Cassutt explores one of those connections in his latest column on Science Fiction Weekly. It's also a bit depressing in its view of the state of animation nowadays. For the full article, go here: http://www.scifi.com/sfw/current/cassutt.html/

Yes, its that time of year again. While the staff of Further Confusion 2003 is hard at work with preparing for January, its time for a new chairman and executive team to be selected by AAE for 2004. Further Confusion rotates the chair and executive team each year to keep a fresh influx of new ideas coming into the convention as well as helping grow the number of highly educated organizers within the fandom at large.

So, if you are interested in being the chair of one of anthropomorphic fandoms most exciting and largest conventions, please see the full bid guidelines at http://www.anthroarts.org/fcbids.html

As is our custom, Further Confusion's chairman will be stepping down after Further Confusion 2002. This custom keeps fresh ideas and fresh approaches coming into Further Confusion, gives more folks the opportunity to give their input and dedication toward its improvement, and lets people grow into more demanding roles.

That means we will need a new chairman. Toward that end, we are posting our annual invitation for bids to be submitted to AAE if you want to chair FC2003.

Ran across this tonight after a long night of rebuilding a network. I'd heard about the game but I had not heard about a feature film before.

I sometimes wonder if Mr Bluth has more lives than a cat but considering its Dragon's Lair, I'll hope for the best. After all, the last time Bluth was truly out on his own he somehow managed to come up with Secret of NIMH.
