I was dreading to hear what Peaches (daughter of Bob) Geldof would ask a bunch of furries — in the end it was more what Dom Joly said which was annoying.

For those outside of the UK, OMG! With Peaches Geldof is a TV show on the digital network ITV2 which does not have a good reputation. It is considered by many to be cheap, tacky, low-brow infotainment, as is most of ITV2's output.

It was this cheap material that I had to wade through before they got to furries. For most of the time I as flicking between channels hoping that these fame-obsessed idiots would soon get off the screen. As a result I did not have high expectations of their coverage of the furry fandom.

I was expecting the usual stuff about having sex in fursuits to be trotted out. However, I was pleasantly surprised.

A third book in the Grandville series of graphic novels by Bryan Talbot has been confirmed.

Talbot revealed on his Twitter account that the new book, set in a steampunk world with an alternate history and with a population mostly of anthropomorphic animals, will be called Grandville: Bete Noire. There are plans for a total of five books in the series.

The first six pages of anthropomorphic steampunk graphic novel Grandville Mon Amour have been made available.

Written and drawn by Bryan Talbot, it is the sequel to Grandville, set in a world populated by anthropomorphic animals, where France won the Napoleonic Wars and the world is full of steam-powered technology.

The story takes place three weeks after the first book, in which badger hero Detective Inspector Archie LeBrock of Scotland Yard is working outside the law after resigning from his job after a row with his boss and is wracked with remorse after failing to prevent the death of a loved one.

Preview clips of BBC Three adult animal puppet sitcom Mongrels are available before the series begins on 22nd June.

Previously known under the title We Are Mongrels, the sitcom revolves around the lives of five wild animals living around the back of an inner city pup.
