Quentin 'Cubist' Long here, announcing yet another new issue of ANTHRO. Except that 'yet another' isn't quite accurate, because *this* issue is the zine's *twenty-fifth*! You can think of it as reaching the quarter-century mark, or four full years of existence plus the start of the fifth; either way, there just aren't a lot of furzines that can lay claim to the milestone of a 25th issue... but ANTHRO is now a member of that elite group!

Should anyone feel like expressing their appreciation in a concrete manner, the URLs at the top of this message await you. Alternately, you could donate cash or subscribe to the zine [ http://anthrozine.com/site/support.html ], or buy some ANTHRO-recommended furry tales [ http://anthrozine.com/site/support.books.1.html ]. At any rate, it's the 25th issue of ANTHRO! And to commemorate the occasion, we've put together a couple of items slightly beyond the ordinary.

Special feature number one: We've assembled all 24 of our past covers into a comprehensive gallery! It's the whole gang -- everything from LEOMORPHIC DA VINCI (#1) to ANTHRO PEACE (#24) -- and they've been lovingly arranged into a colorful 5x5 array with the center filled by ANTHRO's "big A" logo. And the cover of ANTHRO #25 is the only place you can see it in all its glory!

Special feature number two: PREDATION: THE BOARD GAME! Inspired by the KEVIN & KELL webcomic, PREDATION is a two-player game which reflects and embodies many aspects of the predator/prey relationship. We've got the complete rules and board (a downloadable, printable, high-resolution image); and if you have an Othello/Reversi set, you already have the game pieces. We hope you'll enjoy playing PREDATION!
