Well it’s coming up that time of the year again and much like last year we have a Camp Feral Video. This year the Feral crew is making a “Future” based theme, which should open the door to crazy ideas. Take a look at the first footage I found on behind the scenes and stay tuned for more craziness coming soon. Between Chuck (on NBC) ending and this wonderful song…. it’s been a tough week for me (among other reasons). Here is Every River (Runrig Cover) by Foxamoore and video by  alectorfencer which is one of the newer and rare one I see in these music/picture deals, a girl (yes a real girl) singing. Her name is Ashley Serena who does a amazing job and gettn’ those tunes right into your heart. Check it out and enjoy!

Just recently released is Rockoons 3,  now if you say, “WHAT IS THIS?!” then you haven’t surfed in the fandom internet long enough. Check out the other Rockoons1 and Rockoons 2, also check Raiders of the Trash (my fav).  This new animation is full of furries gettn’ squished, blown up, and time traveled.

Oh yessssss…. it’s that time of the year again! Get your favorite artists, writers and whatever other furry entertainment collected and head over to the Ursa Awards. The awards are the fandoms time to shine with the best of the best. Starting now until February 29th you can nominate your fav. fandom peeps, so come March 15th we can vote! Winners receive a certificate award to hang in thier house next to thier Emmy(if you don’t have a Emmy, high school awards work) and get the confidence to know they really are on top of the furpile. So head over now and stay tuned to DFB for updates later.

Right on course AnthroCon (Pittsburgh, PA) is ready to wow us with two great GOH (Guests Of Honor).  We have Saryon whom is a Japanese talented acrobatic/dancer, see more click here.  Also the talented Dev Madan whom is the brilliant creation of Sly Cooper among other works such as; Batman Adventures and many, many more, see him here.  Then finally, we have Mike Kazaleh whom is the mastermind of workings behind The Simpsons, Mighty Mouse and much more, check him here. This should be enough to make all the furries wet themselves a little and shake each ones hand. Good job AC2012 on the great line up this year!

Yes I littered the site down with SOPA and PIPA postings, even threw in a page on how you can help stop everything. The website SFWeekly (SanFrancisco’s News site, blog thing) did a nice little blog on Lee Strom (fur name: Chairo) the Co-Founder of the first FurtherConfusion 1999. As you may or may not know Chairo was one the first fursuit makers for the fandom and this site points out some good facts if want to learn. That’s right… LEARN… it’s not porn sorry … you can put some knowledge in ya instead of other stuff…  Click here to see the page.

Well it’s good thing to know when it comes to the top strangest conventions we’re not the only ones. Today Oddee.com released it’s top 10 strangest conventions list,  included are Redhead day and The Office (show on NBC) day. We do however top the cake with #1 on the list, so either that’s a good thing orrrrr bad depending how you look at it.

 

Another Free partial … seems some furries are being generous all of a sudden….whatttt iss thisss? Okay enough of my talk, this time around the free partial comes from R_L works and actually be customized to your needs. The rules again are simple, post links in places and comment on the FA page. You’ll be picked at random if you win and you’ll be fabulous of course. So here is the rules and the main link:

1. You MUST be 18 years of age or older. If you are not 18 right now, you can not enter.

2. You MUST submit one, multi-view reference sheet of your character.

3. You character can have NO MORE THAN 4 FUR COLORS included in their design (otherwise the project becomes too costly for my business)

4. You MUST post a journal with a link to the contest entry journal in order to “pimp”, “promote”, or “advertise” this raffle/contest. And copy/paste the URL (link) of your journal in a comment below along with your character reference sheet as proof.

5. You MUST Watch this (my primary account) and/or my r_lworks fursuit account for updates regarding the winner and fursuit updates.

6. You MUST be willing to pay shipping for your costume. I can afford only the supplies and time it takes to make the suit. The winner is responsible for paying for the shipping/handling charges of the costume.

7. You can not set a deadline as for when the costume will be completed. It is up to me as the builder for this type of costume construction. (I have many other commissioners who have paid for their commissions and thus their projects have a higher priority than a free costume order)

8. Be friendly and please don’t spam. This is a fun chance to win a costume for yourself with little cost! So please be civil and wish everyone good luck!

The entry period will CLOSE after 500 applicants have applied or after 7 DAYS upon opening.

So thanks to KaneHusky I came across this awesome new-ish cartoon drawer, who of course if a furry. From what it seems he has no limits to adult humor on his boards. He put one video on YouTube for a test and hopes for more. Check out his FA account and follow him for newer stuff. Don’t get all butt hurt cause there isn’t lots of vids… you need to stick with him and show support so newer stuff can be written.

What a amazing deal…better then a TV one! So it seems like Doodle (partial) is being given away in a contest, THAT’S RIGHT A FREE FURSUIT! As you see above it’s not some cheesy one either, so this is worth the effort. The rules are VERY simplistic (which is rare for contests in the fandom) and if you win by getting drawn from the hat then you’ll be like one of us ….errhmmm … you’ll have a amazing suit! So yes, CampFeral came out with a new video today! Starring many from the CampFeral scene furs, Nayo as the effected one,  BlackTeagan as PETA and Rikoshi as Mother Nature. The game was simple, capture the flag and don’t get caught doing so. Kyle and Kit were up on the upper camp trying to stop a band of mis-fits like myself from crossing as well (but no camera scenes for me   ) . Check it out!

So I was told to take a look at this thanks to YawniHusky. It was posted 7months ago, but it’s pretty funny and informative. Very true on all points to this flash video, artists and commissioners usually almost never follow these rules. So it might be a good idea if you feel you slipped to the dark side and lost touch on how to run a business or interact with business officials then check it out!
