The chat box appears to be gone...is this normal? It's only gone when I'm logged in.
Anyway, for lack of a better place: Spacecraft kills endangered species
You had it turned off in the block configuration section of your account settings. Check to see there aren't other things you want that are turned off!
Also, you totally broke the related stories lookup. The DB query can't handle more than 61 tags! *fixes*
Yeah, next month, should I just add a "Newsbyte" tag, or tag everything?
On one hand, it'll make looking up stuff easier later this way; on the other, it looks kinda ridiculous, even if you have fixed the related stories stuff.
I haven't fixed it, really, I just removed a few. :-)
I could probably trim the number of tags displayed on the front page, and limit the number passed to related stories.
If tags are appropriate, I think you should use them, but don't go overboard; e.g. we don't usually tag cities.
I don't know, tags like city or country or even specific conventions might be useful. Like a dateline.
Tags like "animals" or "furries," though, uh, well, duh.
