Supermegatopia RPG Review/Reaction

RPG.net recently posted a generally favorable playtest review of the Supermegatopia Role-Playng Game. Unfortunately, the review generated this reaction on RPG.net's forum where a poster described Supermegatopia as "essentially a comic in which furry animals get naked and have sex like you or I shake hands." While the poster says he has nothing personal against Supermegatopia, he does wonder how SMT's content could support an RPG.

Being a regular reader and fan of SMT, and friend of the creators of the comic... (include other disclaimers, take deep breath)

The boy is lookin' for an excuse to dis' the comic.

While I'd agree that there's more cheesecake than you could cover with a chocolate factory, well, there's less sex than would be apparent from that review. To break an analogy, he's watching the Spice Channel, I'm watching Showtime. I want what he's having, but he thinks I already have it.
