As you may have noticed, we have a new news catagory: Commentaries. Fairly self-explanatory. I'm interested in recieving contributions for this catagory. Suggested topics include fandom (SF and furry) issues, rebuttals to previous commentaries, conventions reviews, and other feature-length articles. Take a look at some of the previous Fuzzy Logic issues for examples.

Anthrocon Registration Going Up

For those of you thinking of attending Anthrocon this July 27th-29th in Philadelphia, registration is increasing from $35 to $40 at the end of this month. Anthrocon has a nifty online registration system, for those of you with plastic.

Mel. White Joins Shanda Fantasy Arts

White will be joining the SFA team: "...She is assuming the job of ACQUISITIONS EDITOR, to seek out new life forms and new civilizations...no that's not right. Upgrade Underway

Dealing with last week's problems delayed the roll-out of PHPNuke v4.4 (the code that drives Flayrah.com). I've started tweaking the code to my specs on a copy of the database. However, I did upgrade the poll code on this site, so the annoying bug of posting comments with no usernames should be fixed. At a first glance, the upgrade contains a number of other bug fixes, both noticable (poll comment fix) and not (lots of html code optimizations). There's also an included bulletin board and user-messaging system, as well as an FAQ manager, reviews manager, and a few other interesting things. Assuming nothing blows up this week, look for the new features towards the end of the week.

The comments table in my MySQL database appears to be corrupted. I'm communicating with my web provider (who cited an MySQL error in the problems that occured last night), to see if the data can be recovered.

Conifur Artshow Director Steps Down
