I just think that, if you're trying to convince someone of something or give them advice, tone does become important, and that--if you're being genuine in your claims here--if you think Garrison did nothing wrong, it would've helped to take some time to step down from your anger and write a more measured response. I actually AGREE with some of the points you made on what Garrison should do moving forward but the way you said it, I think, really screwed the pooch here and derailed this conversation to the point I can't see it becoming civil again. It does become hard to take you at your word and I think Garrison deserves a more direct, less rambling apology.
(Also, just for the record, and I intend to say this with no harshness, but I'm neurotypical and I didn't get that CUM joke either.)
