I only get one an hour, per post. I use the subscriptions mechanism, though, set up like this, rather than the notify options at the bottom of the comment form - are a fallback for anon posters (who have no account to subscribe).
If "Comment follow-up notification settings" are enabled on your main account edit tab, disabling both of them and only using subscriptions instead is probably the way to go.
