This is really not the time to be playing gatekeeper on events. We're lucky some of the conventions are willing to try something new to give our community something fun. If a convention goes virtual, it should be included under that convention's tag, just as a physical convention would be. It takes a great deal of planning and time to set something like that up and most of the groups trying to do it are having to learn how on the fly.
