I thought we should link to the stuff you got at the convention, since it's ultimately part of your own personal experience - and it also lets readers see both the magazine you spent most of a paragraph on (which I couldn't immediately see elsewhere), as well as the daily newspapers. The con T-shirt is nice to see, too.
I removed what seemed to me to be a not-very-useful line about a figure that might change in the future. I didn't expect you to come back with "but I expect it to increase by 45%!" Convention charity totals don't normally jump that much after closing.
I admit I don't have much experience of how EF tots up its donations, so perhaps you have a particular reason to expect differently in this case? Maybe there was some component which was known not to be included at closing? If so, that would be more concrete information to include.
