Jesus, I'm saying Rarity and Nick Wilde are no different; they are both anthropomorphic characters. Being attractive to Rarity is no better or worse than being attractive to Nick Wilde.

When you spell it out like that, I mean, you're totally right, but in a way that kind of makes this whole furry thing way more uncomfortable than it has to be.

Well, it's really no different than what many furries like to do. In physiological terms the brain can't understand what "anthropomorphic" means. It's really just a different alien fantasy in the end I think.
But if we show it that way, where I talk about how I talk about the brain, maybe (but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong) they will be a little less uncomfortable.
