I did review it, about this time last year. Did you miss it? I'm on my cell phone, so I can't link directly, but it is in the archives; you can find it easy enough now that you know it exists.
And it would not do to have a 2011 movie in the 2012 list; yes, Bernie's IMDB page says its 2011, but it counts its festival premiere rather than theatrical. The two movies I listed as Too Late For Last Year are movies from 2011 that I saw after I wrote and submitted the 2011 top ten list; if I had seen either before, they both would have bumped at least Super 8, then probably actually not Puss in Boots but something, anyway. Hell, probably The Artist would bump something. It's a great Best Picture.
It's an acknowledgement that I did not see every movie in 2011 in 2011, and I missed at least two great ones.
Just don't be too mad I still liked a horror comedy over Leafie, okay? And seriously, thank you for the original suggestion to see the movie and review it; more people should see it, and I really hoped you would actually be happy it got another mention, which we can only hope causes more people to see it.
And, I don't know, maybe go rent Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. It's actually great and makes a necessary point.
