“Samurai Chinchilla” sounds like a leftover from the days of the “Pre-Teen Dirty-Gene Kung-Fu Kangaroos” and “Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters” and their ilk of the late 1980s. “Mildly-Microwaved Pre-Pubescent Gophers.” No, sorry; that was “Samurai Squirrel”. The only difference between this year’s Pitch Party entrants and those of ten years ago is that this year’s include their own websites in addition to the 1/16th-page adv’ts in Animation Magazine. Have any of these pitches, ever, sold?
