The other Gamma World novel "Red Sails in the Fallout" qualifies as furry because.. well.. it was written by one. Its author Paul Kidd is "patpahootie" on FA and has been involved with furry since the 1980s.

I'm partway through reading it right now and it's a jolly fun romp indeed. :) Well worth checking out.
