I missed a chance to see this movie last weekend, hopefully I'll catch it while it's still in theaters and failing that then when it is released on dvd.
Honestly when I first saw the trailer months back I was intrigued by the character design. Personally I'm more into the more colorful and cartoony look of animal characters (which is why I'm very interested in seeing Rio later this year) but that's also the reason why I want to see this movie - because it's so different from what you'd typically expect. And with a rougher and less cartoony look you're less likely to see as much off the wall goofy and kidsy antics (something that can at best get annoying in an anthro movie and at worst ruin the experience).
I also suspect that by having less cartoony characters it'll have a much stronger script to offset the kid-friendly deficit.
