Not a single person has called out the plight of students who have to be embarrassed and bullied by small-minded teachers????, (you can only write about anthro stuff?), who don't believe a thing just because they are too narrow-minded to believe that one of the young people in their class is exceptional.... this happened a lot in the 60's and both before and after in many classrooms in the UK and elsewhere....my own tests when 8yrs-old were equal to an average undergraduate...and I was hauled up in front of the headmaster and criminally embarrassed because my class teacher didn't believe me about something, (he was proved wrong), and I found an alternative answer in an exam, later on, set by a professor in the exam-subject where the invigilator promised to contact the exam-setter when I proved to their satisfaction that there was two answers possible where it was categorically stated at the top oif the paper that there was only one correct answer possible for each (visual/plan-reading ), question... didn't anyone mention Gustave Dore, Mozart or any one of the precocious and talented children that litter history like it was an urban high street?
