The best news this month is that Carla Speed McNeil has moved to Dark Horse so she can spend more time creating and less publishing, and if you are not rejoicing you don't know what you're missing.

PAGES 49, 50
DARK HORSE COMICS (http://www.darkhorse.com)
OCT100041 Finder: Voice sc, 208pg, b&w, 6"x9": $19.99
by Carla Speed McNeil
Marginally furry; an earlier story arc revolves around a tribe of lionmorphs working at a warped version of Disneyworld, and other morphs are in other stories less prominently. However and regardless, this is the best SF comic ever (what CSM calls 'anthropology of the future') and you should read this and then buy the two-volume collection of all the backstory, originally in six self-published trade paperbacks, as soon as it comes out. Highestly recommended. Or highliest if you prefer.

OCT100042 Usagi Yojimbo #134 24pg, b&w $3.50
by Stan Sakai (not Usagi Yojimbo, as I wrote last month)
'The rabbit ronin Usagi gets caught in the middle of the latest scam from the master thief Kitsune in a tale of double--and triple--crosses!'
