MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- Residents in a Marion County, Fla., neighborhood said an aggressive pack of wild boars is terrorizing their neighborhood, according to Local 6 News.

"I saw a pig looking in the window," resident Edwin Aundrea said. "It spotted me when I tried to chase him away and it chased me in the house."

But it gets worse!

In an article posted to alt.fan.furry and alt.lifestyle.furry on Tuesday, Nexxus (James Robertson) announced that he has transferred ownership and administration of the Furnation servers and services to Rackett and that he plans to gafiate from furry fandom. For his announcement, see below; click here to see the complete article that was posted to Usenet, which also deals with a nasty bit of recent mudslinging.

Lawsuit falls through and ferrets still illegal in NYC

Your rating: None Average: 5 (2 votes)

An attempt to stop the ban on ferrets in NYC by showing that the Board of Health had no reason to ban them fell through in Manhattan Supreme Court when the judge decided that there was "rational factual basis" to declare the animals vicious and unpredictable rabies mongers.
Elsewhere, the suitablity of ferrets as pets is not in question.

Club Stripes Status

Your rating: None Average: 5 (3 votes)

Club Stripes is going through a move. We are moving our primary server to another bandwidth solution. As a result, the site will not be resolving as long as two days. We apologise for any problems this may cause, however this will provide a MUCH more stable connection. In addition, once the server is back up, we will be announcing several new services and policies.

"PETA? I love cats on pita. With mayo."

So while everyone's glad to see a human thespian make a comeback, when a puppet icon returns to the big time, you really have to give it a hand.

FluffMUCK - Going out with a bang

Your rating: None Average: 5 (2 votes)

As many of you know, FluffMUCK is going away soon.

Zorin's life has become too busy to run the MUCK as well as he'd like, and so rather than letting it falter, he's closing the doors.

What you may not know is that the MUCK is going out with a bang this Sunday night!

New Macrofurry site about!

Your rating: None Average: 5 (4 votes)

If - like me - you are into, or just enjoy Macrofurry - the area of furry which involves furries of unusal size, here's a new site you might like to check out. It can be found at this address:

www.lofty-bearing.org

If you're concerned about rude pictures, though there are adult areas these are very clearly labelled and indicated, and as a whole and in the majority most stuff is friendly and *clean*.

The owners and administrators of that site would ask you if you wish to join to read their FAQ and observe the rules of that site at all times.

Though, the site is not ment to be a dictatorship - it's just there for you to have fun!

Now here's an article for fans of animated horses --
a history of cartoon hayburners down through the ages.

The article does a good job of covering horses in animation from
the very begining to the present -- but why say more? Go look at the link.

Kudos on this article go to Craig Loewen, who first told me about it.
