I believe they will be pulling this short but I thought I would share it while I can. "In Tonko House’s first short-form series, written and directed by Erick Oh, we see how Pig remembers becoming the Dam Keeper. Seen through Pig’s youthful perspective, the visuals are abstract and surreal, but the source of his pain and his joy are clear. Produced in both Berkeley and Tokyo by a variety of international and domestic artists, the series showcases Tonko House’s global community through a story featuring universal themes, such as family, grief, responsibility, and growing up. The series is made up of over 31,000 frames, all individually hand drawn and painted."

January 1st ... a day when not much is going on media wise. For this I thought about looking back at animation 100 years ago and dug up this cute piece by Winsor McCay so some of the earliest furry stuff out there. It's so cute. Here is an odd greeting from Nebula Studios that appears to be working on a furry short that has a bit of a classic Tim Burton vibe. "The bunny is Lob0, the main character in Don’t Feed These Animals, a short film Nebula Studios is working on with the support of the incredible Maxon, NVidia, Redshift and Wacom. Recorded on ZBC in Tundratown affiliate around 1988 and I didn't get the full commercial for Jerry Vole but left in what I had. Still looking for the full copy of the Electronic Time Machine News special that is advertised at the end. "A mysterious bear appears in Nick's and Judy's agency, who does not want to show her face. She wants Judy and Nick to find her former lover, who is the reason why she can't show her face. The two detectives find this man, but find out on the next day that someone murdered him. Of course, the mysterious woman is their very first suspect." Note: Man, this actually was quite a lot of work and it's amazing how complex edits like this get. I'm tired now. And posted it. And it is done. So I did do that.
